What: MeCards© Is SoulCollage© for Kids
Kids are living in their soul. They don’t need the coaxing adults need to access their subconscious, their truth. MeCards© is a safe, fun and easy process for kids to collage images on a card and then they write a poem about the card. The poem has a format that helps focus on each image. Barb offers MeCards© for any group. One time is fun and doing four to five times is even more revealing and fun. We can introduce themes. This is a perfect activity to incorporate into an after school program, part of an art, self awareness. empowerment program, church or other youth group, birthday party, coming of age ritual or similar occasions.
All supplies are provided. Fee is a function of location, size and duration.
Why:
Kids are emotional beings. They don’t feel long before they have skills and words to tell adults what they need, what is going on for them. Images help them understand themselves and adults provide support.
